 Shall We Dance?
It's that time of year, when so many have dancing on their minds. Oh for so many reasons: Prom night, Wedding Day, celebration of Spring, Graduation and looking toward Summer Break: you can pick your choice.
And of course, who would resist the chance to dance with a kimono clad chicken? Isn't she a delight in her red high heeled shoes!

"Pleasure is spread through the earth in stray gifts, to be claimed by whoever shall find."
I have joined Etsy, a website for artists and creative people to set up their own shop where they show their work or collections. I was recently selected as one of the featured artists in a "Treasury" called "Undiscovered Beauties"
The Treasury feature gives Etsy members an opportunity to handpick or curate a show of other Etsy members. What I like about the Treasury and which is a significant component of Etsy is that it offers a community building tool for Etsy members to support each other. Very cool! And it gives shoppers the chance to be introduced to a theme selection of artwork or vintage goodies, which may appeal to their tastes! Yummy!

Speak about the past, lemonade chairs on the porch, summer afternoon.
Sitting on the front porch on a summer afternoon, thinking of a slower pace and a simple pleasure, like sipping homemade lemonade with a friend - how lovely!
Cathy Wilson of New Lenox, IL chose this print when she was selected to win a free print.
Cathy says of her choice:
Summer comes early
Warm spring day and the
Ability to enjoy friends.
This image warms my heart!

 "Cup of Tea for Three"
Happy Mother's Day
The three members of this little family are like a triangle shape, which is strong and secure in its totality.
As I travel to Baltimore with my sons to see my 86 year old mom for the Mother's Day weekend, I'm wishing all a meaningful and Happy Mother's Day.
